The Milwaukee Bucks surprised everyone in the basketball world when they fired their head coach, Adrian Griffin, on Tuesday. However, it seems like this decision wasn't out of the blue. Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix has shared that there were ongoing talks in NBA circles for weeks hinting at a lack of confidence in Griffin from several Bucks veterans, including star player Giannis Antetokounmpo. Being a first-year head coach, it appears that Griffin may not have been the best fit for a team with many experienced players like the Bucks. The team, aiming for a championship, recently added star point guard Damian Lillard to complement Antetokounmpo. Despite Griffin's early-season success, the Bucks seemingly lost faith in his ability to lead them to a title.
